Tungsten high speed steel is the most used high speed steel, The Tungsten composition higher than 11%. it has good comprehensive performance, have high hardness (HRC 62 ~ 66), strength, toughness and heat resistance, red hardness can reach 620 degrees Celsius. Like American Steel standrad AISI/ASTM/SAE T1~T15 high speed steel, The commonly used Tungsten hss have T1, T2, T4, T5, T15 High Speed Steel. - Molybdenum High Speed Steels (HSS)
The Molybdenum high speed tool steel have adding high comoposition molybdenum, the Mo higher than 4.5%, commonly called “HSS”, The heat treamt hardness can reached 63-65 Rockwell hardness. aisi Grade M1 to M62.
- Middle type High Speed Steel
The Middle type high speed steel’s alloy composition lower than standard HSS. Typical Grade M50, M52.
